Sometimes people ask me what inspires me the most. My answer is always: words. Maybe because in my paintings I want to tell stories. Literature is a sister of painting to me.
I like great classics, Dostoyevski, Mann, Steinbeck, Joyce – they tell the stories of ancient battles between good and evil. Unfinished or partially finished. With beauty existing on both sides.
